Testing I am here to reply you back!
Hi, David! Yes, Mostly I use a lot similar to yours. I call the test "receptive skills" and "expressive skills" but I like your way of saying "EOS" evidentily of skills? Can't remember if you said it right. I sign from unit 1 to 3 including grammar and culture notes too. Interesting.
Unfortunately, I could not get a blog for this topic - "How to give a Mid Term" - so I cannot respond to yours - I give a three past test - Expressive, Receptive and then a test on the culture, history, and ALL the facts I have taught up to that point. I feel it is important to include this because many students take the class only to learn signs. I told them I refuse to teach that way. You have to know the culture and history of any language to respect it and its native people.
